the star trail is a straight line. The angle of deviation
is close to 0,

To do that you should turn the base of your
mount to east. For me it was the case, may
be for you it will be the inverse depending of your
setup (CCD camera position...) Repeat the step 5 and check the result,
if the angle is larger than your first exposure, that
mean you turned your mount in the wrong direction.
After several iterations you should have a picture like
the one above. That mean your RA alignment if enough
for the moment.
